How to Delete Your Data
You can request the deletion of your data from Portaal at any time. Here are the available options:
For Agency Clients (connected via an onboarding link)
If you connected your Meta, Google, TikTok, or LinkedIn account through a Portaal onboarding link sent by your marketing agency:
- Revoke access directly on the platform:You can remove Portaal's access at any time through your Meta Business Settings, Google Account permissions, TikTok Business Center, or LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Contact the agency: Ask the marketing agency that sent you the onboarding link to revoke access through their Portaal dashboard.
- Contact us directly: Send an email to privacy@portaal.iowith the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address you used during onboarding. We will delete all your data within 30 days.
For Agency Users (Portaal account holders)
If you have a Portaal agency account:
- Delete your account:Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account in your Portaal dashboard. This will permanently delete your account, all client data, all connections, and all stored tokens.
- Contact us: Send an email to privacy@portaal.iowith the subject "Account Deletion Request".
What Gets Deleted
When you request data deletion, we permanently remove:
- Your account information (name, email, company details)
- All OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens
- All connection records and logs
- All client data and intake form responses
- All onboarding link configurations and branding
- All team member records
Timeline
We process deletion requests within 30 days. Some data may be retained for up to 90 days in encrypted backups before being permanently purged. Data required for legal compliance (billing records, tax documentation) may be retained as required by law.
Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation once your data has been deleted.
